Just outside Herrin, Illinois, our 36-acre private property is yours for the day—giving you space to celebrate, explore, and truly live in every moment of your wedding weekend.

Wedding Barn
Our fully finished wedding barn is a temperature-controlled indoor reception space designed to impress. Featuring large glass garage doors, expansive windows, and modern light fixtures, the barn offers flexibility, natural light, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Patio & Pond
Step outside to a stamped concrete patio that connects the barn to the cottage deck—perfect for cocktail hour, dancing under the stars, or even an outdoor ceremony. Draped with string lights, this space creates an inviting, romantic ambiance.
The 1-acre pond with a fountain serves as a breathtaking backdrop for ceremonies and photos, while the sand beach and fire pit add a cozy, memorable touch for you and your guests.
Wonderland Woods
Cross the wooden bridge and step into a fairytale. Wonderland Woods is one of Dragonfly’s most magical ceremony locations, featuring winding paths, whimsical lighting, rustic benches, and a charming wooded setting that feels intimate and enchanting.
Pavilion
The Pavilion offers a warm, flexible setting designed for comfort in every season. Featuring two private bathrooms, a cozy fireplace, and a fully covered space ideal for either a ceremony or reception, it allows your celebration to continue seamlessly regardless of weather. Ceiling and patio heaters add an extra layer of comfort, making the Pavilion a welcoming gathering place for you and your guests year-round.
Bridal House
Your wedding weekend should feel relaxed, joyful, and unrushed. Our on-site Bridal House allows you and your wedding party to stay right on the property and enjoy the full Dragonfly experience.
Features include:
- 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms
- Large living room, kitchen, and dining area
- Formal sitting room—perfect for getting-ready photos
- Private bridal suite with makeup room and lighted vanity
Depending on your package, decorating can be done on Friday, rehearsal dinner hosted on-site, and the wedding party can stay overnight. After the celebration, retreat to your bridal suite and savor every moment.
Groom’s Room
Designed with fun and relaxation in mind, the Groom’s Room is the perfect pre-ceremony hangout.
Features include:

- Poker table
- Private bathroom

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the deposit to secure my date?
A $750 down payment is required to become a Dragonfly couple. This payment is applied toward your total venue cost and counts as your first payment.
How do monthly payments work?
After signing your contract and submitting your deposit, we set up automatic monthly payments through one month before your wedding. Payments can be made via debit or credit card.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes. All couples must obtain Event Liability Insurance with Host Liquor. Alcohol may be provided to guests but cannot be sold.
What is the guest capacity?
Up to 300 guests when using the barn, patio, and pavilion
Up to 120 guests for receptions held inside the temperature-controlled barn and pavilion only, allowing adequate space for a dance floor
